SCHOOL LENT ART PROJECT

We want to thank our local schools for their wonderful response to the Six Villages Creative Theology project.

The churches of St Mary Sheering, St Mary Hatfield Broad Oak and St Mary Little Hallingbury have been transformed by the magnificent art-work that our church primary school pupils have produced.

At St Mary Little Hallingbury, a group of the artists, their parents and Caroline Harding LLM met with Robin King, the Archdeacon of Stansted, to give him an exclusive guided tour of the pictures and a "behind the scenes" insight into how they had been created.

The project has informed the art, religious studies and English curriculums this term.
