The Parochial Church Council of St Mary the Virgin, Hatfield Broad Oak, is responsible for applying the relevant rules and regulations.
These affect all churchyards in the Diocese of Chelmsford and are made by the Chancellor of the Diocese.
They are published in the
Diocese of Chelmsford Churchyard Handbook.

We also have a local policy, as an addendum to the Diocesan Handbook, to help those who have an interest in our churchyard to understand and interpret the rules.
