The Parochial Church Council of St Mary the Virgin, Little Hallingbury has agreed and adopted a written policy
governing the use of the churchyard and the tending of graves. Our Churchyard Policy Ultimately, the the rules and regulations which affect all churchyards in the Diocese of Chelmsford are made by the Chancellor of the Diocese and published in the Diocese of Chelmsford Churchyard Handbook.
Our policy is intended to provide information which focuses specifically on the churchyard at St Mary's and which the PCC will refer to and follow when considering any applications for permission or other issues that arise. Hard copies of the Handbook and our local policy are available on the noticeboard inside St Mary's Church. |
